As I sat down to write this month’s newsletter, I took a huge, deep breath.  It wasn’t something I consciously did, but just a natural reaction.  However, it is a very appropriate response to my life as it is now. 

 Our Dallas store is up and running.  I just love the space and our fabulous new team members.  We are fortunate to announce the addition of super fabulous Jeanette Chivvis.  She is our Dallas Manager and our newest jill-of-all-trades to join the Marnie Rocks crew.  If you happen to be in Dallas, stop by to say hello.  I know that you will enjoy meeting her.  I will keep everyone updated on the date of a grand opening party.  It will be a blast and we want you to come!

 On a personal note, this has been a summer of juggling work and family.  With the kids out of school and opening a new store, my hands have been full!  I know that I am fortunate to have an office environment that permits me to bring the kids to work and to work fewer hours when I need to spend time with them.  My oldest two are off to see Grandma in Tennessee next week and then there are only two more weeks of summer.  We will make one more trip to the lake and a visit to L.A. to see the sights. 

 Design wise, I am having so much fun with a new collection called “Express Yourself.” It will debut in late September and is sure to rock your world!  I promise.  I am also working on the perfect size of python clutches in metallic silver and gold that will be your go-to bag this fall.  They are sleek, stunning, simple and sexy.  Now, who doesn’t want a bag with all of those traits?
